Kona Fishing Charter Captain: James Bach

Born and raised here on the island there was no other place I’d rather be than on the water. My family owned a dive boat business so I grew up on a boat and fell in love with the ocean. Also being home schooled had its perks I got to go to work with my dad everyday. So when I was of age to take my captains course I did just that.

In 2006 at the age of 18 I completed my captains / coast guard course an graduated and got my 100 ton Master license. From then I worked a few years on the family boat till I decided to make fishing a life dream to a full time life reality. I have been fishing on  the waters of kona for over 16+ years now and have been a part of many tournaments with a few placed  trophies under my belt.
